For me, real estate has never been simply about selling houses. It is about helping people make good decisions, navigate important transitions, and ultimately find a place that fits the life they are trying to build.
I am the founder and team leader of Gathering Place Real Estate, brokered by Real Broker Alaska, one of Alaska’s leading real estate teams. I built Gathering Place around a simple philosophy: people deserve knowledgeable, honest guidance from professionals who care more about serving well than making a sale. That philosophy continues to shape how we work with our clients, how we build our team, and the reputation we have worked hard to earn throughout Alaska.
Over the course of my real estate career, I have helped facilitate the sale of more than 1,000 properties and have consistently ranked among the top producing real estate professionals in Alaska. Gathering Place Real Estate has also consistently ranked among Alaska’s top real estate teams, serving buyers and sellers throughout the Mat Su Valley, Anchorage, and surrounding communities.
A significant part of my career has been dedicated to residential development and new construction. I serve as the sales and marketing partner for Hall Quality Homes, one of Alaska’s most established homebuilders, where I have helped hundreds of families navigate the process of designing, building, and purchasing a new home. That experience has given me a depth of knowledge in construction, land development, home design, pricing, market positioning, and the many details that separate a successful building experience from an average one.
At the same time, my work extends well beyond new construction. I advise homeowners on resale strategy, pricing and positioning, work with buyers at every stage of homeownership, and help clients evaluate land, investment opportunities, and long term real estate decisions. My role is rarely just to open a door or write a contract. It is to understand the bigger picture, identify the opportunities and risks, and give clients the information they need to make confident decisions.
I am a lifelong Alaskan with deep roots in the Mat Su Valley and a strong connection to the communities I serve. I hold degrees in Business Management and Marketing and bring more than 25 years of business, sales, marketing, and leadership experience to my work. That broader business background has shaped the way I approach real estate, particularly when it comes to negotiation, strategy, marketing, development, and understanding the financial implications behind a decision.
I am also passionate about building organizations and developing people. Gathering Place is intended to be exactly what its name suggests: a place where talented professionals can bring their strengths, serve people exceptionally well, and build meaningful careers without losing sight of the relationships and values that matter most.
Most importantly, I believe experience should create clarity for the people you serve. Whether someone is purchasing their first home, building a custom home, selling a property they have owned for decades, relocating to Alaska, or evaluating their next investment, my goal is to make a complicated process easier to understand and help them move forward with confidence.
